My cat has an anal gland disorder and is licking all of her fur off everywhere. Any help how to stop it?

My cat has been diagnosed with an anal gland disorder two years ago. We haven't noticed anything until now (2011). She has be licking and biting her fur off to the point where she is starting to look bald. We went to the vet and he emptied out her anal sacs. We thought she would be a little bit better but now she is licking more fur off. Please if anyone has and suggestions or ways to help her I would be more than appreciated. Thank you.
