Can I seperate newborn kittens from their mother?

Don't take them away from her! No one will raise the kittens better than the mother. They NEED their mother. Just let her raise them. Just because the mom is mean doesn't mean they will be, all cats have their own personality no matter what. Don't take them away from her. It would be stupid to take them from her. If she's there and able to take care of them then let her. Just make sure they are healthy and stuff but don't take them from her!!
